Complete configurator built out of real world CAD parts. Challenges included tesselation (fixing parts) and figuring out good displayability (audience and players perspective) with many options and an explode feature to view inner parts.

Procedural Wood, custom shader in Unreal Engine

A wood material which is cutable, no need to UV match side and end grains. Challenges were to orient noise textures in order to display fibres, rings and chatoyancy.

Population

Population visualization in Blender

Statistics doesn't have to be booring and ugly! I had population data form a points cloud where longitude and latitude decided where each point would go. Challenges here were mathematical and also esthetic, how to make it look nicer?
